NEW YORK (July 16, 2014) – Yuri Terao of Asia League Hockey's H.C. Tochigi Nikko Icebucks participated in the NHL New York Islanders Rookie Camp from July 7th through the 13th. 

This was made possible through the partnership between the two teams that was formed in May of 2014. Terao played along with the top level players of his age, including many of the drafted players from the recent years, and displayed his skill throughout the camp. He also recorded an assist in the Blue-White game (scrimmage) and continued to impress the coaches.
