NEW YORK (February 1, 2014) – New York Islanders of the NHL hosted "2014 Lighthouse International Tournament" from January 21st through the 27th. Now in it's sixth year, the tournament was a big success as a total of 8 teams from Japan, China, Finland, and the U.S. participated.  

During their week long stay, the participants had the chance to interact with players from other teams through the game of ice hockey, watch NHL and NBA games, and go on a tour of Manhattan.

LeadOff Sports Marketing was responsible for coordinating this trip for Team Japan as we had in the previous years. We had a total of 15 participants (14 from Japan and 1 from U.S.) and all of them enjoyed their visit to New York.
